Description:
This power tester only needs to be connected to the power supply ATX connector to easily and intuitively know whether the output of each power supply is normal. This includes a POWER GOOD signal that we can't measure with a multimeter. (The POWER GOOD signal is required to provide a POWER GOOD signal to the motherboard after the power supply starts. Then the motherboard will start the self-test procedure. If the power supply output is normal, POWER When the GOOD signal is abnormal, the system will not boot. How to use
1. Power the power to be tested
2. Plug the 24P (20P) plug of the power supply to be tested into the 24P (20P) socket corresponding to the power tester.
3. Check whether the seven lights on the right (+3.3, -12V, PG, +5VSB, +12V, -5V, +5V) are on, and all lights up. (Note: Some power supplies are not lit, it is normal, because P4 is above. Is no -5V voltage)
4. Plug the HDD plug to be tested into the HDD socket of the power tester and check if the two lights on the left (+12, +5V) are on, all lights up.
5. Pull out the HDD plug from the power tester, and then insert the P4 (P6/P8) plug into the corresponding P4 (P6/P8) socket to see if the left one (+12V) is on, it is good.
6. Pull out the P4 (P6/P8) plug from the power tester, and then insert the FLOPPY (floppy drive) plug into the corresponding FLOPPY socket to see if the two lights on the left (+12V, +5V) are on, all lights up.
7. Remove the FLOPPY plug from the power tester, and then insert the SATA plug into the corresponding SATA socket to see if the three lights on the left (+12V, +3.3V, +5V) are on, all lights up.
